Herman’s Bio

Herman graduated from Quincy University in 2017 where he played as a starter on the basketball team and led them to the NCAA D2 tournament during his senior year. 

Herman went on to play professionally in England for 2 years, leading his club called the Team Solent Kestrels to the NBL D1 National Trophy in 2018 as well as the Season & Playoff Champions in 2019. 

Herman completed his MBA with a Human Resource Management certificate at the University of Illinois at Springfield while serving as the assistant coach on the Men’s Basketball team under Head Coach Matt Brock. 

Herman works with startup basketball teams as a sports director to assist in managing the difficulties surrounding their new journey. His role includes scheduling gym time, seeking interested athletes, organizing tryouts, financial projections, team apparel production, promotion, and marketing  

Over the years, Herman has partnered with several organizations to host camps, clinics, charity games, concerts, and other events. Some of these organizations include Make It Work Global, Project Mack, The Springfield Urban League, The Boys & Girls Club, & The Salvation Army
